What is the deadline to play your number?
The deadline to play your number is Monday at time of closing for each participating location.
Can I play my number more than once a week?
No, you can only play your number once per week. You can only play one toonie per number, per week, at any one of our dropbox locations. Any extra Toonies with the same numbers are forfeited. If you wish to have more chances to win, complete an additional registration card for any additional Toonies/numbers you want to play. There is no limit to the amount of numbers you can play!
How long is my number in the draw?
The number is yours until you cancel it. Please notify Deer Lake Red Wings organization if you no longer wish to play a certain number so it can be made inactive in the system.
Can I play more than once number?
Yes, but you must first complete additional Registration Forms for each new number you wish to play, available at each of our dropbox locations.
Is there a winner every week?
Not necessarily. If a registered number is drawn and that number was not played that week, it will count as no winner and the prize rolls over to the next week. On the final draw of each lottery license year, there will be no roll over and numbers will be drawn until a winner is found.
If I am a winner, how am I notified?
Winners will be contacted by a representative of the Deer Lake Red Wings using the information provided in their registration. It is your responsibility to ensure registration information remains current. The winner will be contacted by phone as soon as possible after the draw and Deer Lake Red Wings will make every reasonable effort to do so.
Do I have to play at the same location every week?
No, you can play at any of our participating retailer locations. However, if you have played your Toonie number at one location, please do not play a Toonie at another location for that same number. You can only play one Toonie per number, per week, at any of our dropbox locations.
Can I stop playing with a certain number?
Yes, if you wish to stop playing a certain number, please contact a representative of Deer Lake Red Wings Toonie Draw to have your number marked as inactive.
When is the draw?
Boxes are picked up Monday night/Tuesday mornings each week. The draw takes place every Wednesday evening before 8:00 pm at the Hodder Memorial Complex in Deer Lake. Winners will be notified via email or phone and posted on our Facebook page and this website.
